Gdańsk Główny is the main railway станция of Poland's Baltic port city, a handsome neo-Gothic red-brick structure built by the Prussian state railways in 1900 that reflects the city's centuries-long German Hanseatic heritage. It serves as the hub for intercity trains to Warsaw and Kraków as well as the SKM Tricity пригородный network connecting Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Sopot along the Baltic coast. PKP Intercity runs экспресс services from Gdańsk to Warsaw in under three hours, and to Kraków, Katowice, and Wrocław. Regional SKM trains cover the Tri-City (Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot) agglomeration every few minutes.
