Puy du Fou is a grand historical theme park, regularly voted the world's best, about 15 kilometres from Pouzauges. It features spectacular live shows recreating historic events from Roman gladiators to Viking attacks. The Cineoscenie night show with 2,400 volunteer actors is legendary.
