关于 利物浦

Liverpool Lime Street is the main intercity terminus of Liverpool, notable for its striking classical portico facade and the spectacular curved single-span train shed, one of the largest in Britain when it was constructed in the 19th century. It serves as the arrival and departure point for Avanti West Coast services to London Euston, TransPennine Express trains across the north of England, and Merseyrail's suburban network stretching across Merseyside. The station sits at the edge of Liverpool city centre near St George's Quarter and is a short walk from the Albert Dock and the waterfront.

常见问题

Liverpool Lime Street opens directly onto Lime Street and the city centre is a five-minute walk downhill towards the waterfront. Merseyrail also serves the low-level platforms for connections across Merseyside.
Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, and TransPennine Express operate long-distance services from Lime Street, with direct trains to London Euston (around two hours 10 minutes), Birmingham, Manchester, and Edinburgh. Northern Rail also serves regional routes.
Self-service luggage lockers are available at Lime Street. The station has a range of food outlets and shops on the concourse, and the historic Grade II listed facade fronts onto the wide Lime Street.
The most convenient option is to take Merseyrail from Lime Street low-level to Liverpool South Parkway, then board the free shuttle bus to the airport. The total journey takes around 40 minutes. Taxis from Lime Street take about 25 minutes depending on traffic.
The Albert Dock and waterfront are about a 25-minute walk from Lime Street downhill through the city centre. Alternatively, city bus lines and the Mersey Ferries are available from the Pier Head a short walk from the docks.
