Praha-Holešovice is the second most important long-distance railway station in Prague, situated in the Holešovice district on the northern bank of the Vltava river. It serves as a key terminus for many international night trains and cross-border services to Germany, Poland, and Austria, and is used by some daytime express trains as an alternative to the busier Praha hlavní nádraží. The station is well connected to central Prague via the city's metro Line C, which stops directly beneath the station building.

Metro line C (red line) serves Nádraží Holešovice station adjacent to the rail station and reaches Muzeum in the historic centre in about 10 minutes. Tram lines also run frequently from stops outside the station building.
