Paris Montparnasse is the main terminal for TGV servicios de alta velocidad to occidental and suroeste France, connecting Paris with destinations including Nantes, Bordeaux, Rennes, and the Spanish border. Rebuilt in the 1960s as part of the regeneration of the Left Bank Montparnasse quarter, the estación is incorporated into the base of the Tour Montparnasse skyscraper and the surrounding commercial complex.
