モロッコ operates Africa's first 高速鉄道 line, the Al Boraq (named after the mythical winged horse), connecting Casablanca and Tangier via Kenitra in just 2h10m (distance 350 km), at speeds up to 320 km/h. The line opened in November 2018 and was built with French TGV technology by Alstom. Casablanca has a ONCF tramway and a regional rail (Train Navette Rapide) connecting Casablanca to Rabat in 50 minutes, running every 30 minutes. Tickets are sold at oncf.ma, the ONCF app, and station counters. Advance online booking unlocks lower fares. モロッコ is not covered by ユーレイル. International connections by rail include train-ferry combinations to スペイン via Algeciras (through the Strait of Gibraltar ferry) -- no direct rail tunnel exists between Africa and Europe.

No direct train. Travel Marrakech to Casablanca (3h), then change for a direct train to Fez (approximately 3h from Casablanca). The whole journey takes about 6h with a good connection. The Casablanca-Fez route passes through Rabat and Meknes.
The TNR is ONCF's 地域急行 service running every 30 minutes between Casablanca and Kenitra (52 min) via Rabat (50 min). It is the primary 通勤 rail for the Casablanca-Rabat metropolitan corridor and is heavily used by commuters. Al Boraq stops at Kenitra for connections to/from the TNR toward Casablanca and Rabat.
