Kussnacht am Rigi station is about a 5-minute walk from the town centre on the shore of Lake Lucerne. Walk towards the lake for the waterfront and the Hohle Gasse historic path.

SBB S-Bahn trains connect Kussnacht to Lucerne in about 15 minutes and to Zurich via Arth-Goldau. The station is on the Lucerne-Arth-Goldau line along the lake shore.

Kussnacht station has basic facilities. The town is compact and walkable. Lake steamers also connect Kussnacht to Lucerne and other lakeside towns.

The Hohle Gasse (Hollow Way) is the legendary site where William Tell shot the tyrant Gessler with a crossbow. A chapel marks the spot on this historic path. The town also offers lake swimming and views of the Rigi mountain. The Rigi railway is accessible from Vitznau or Arth-Goldau.
