Rougemont is on the MOB line between Montreux and Gstaad, about 70 minutes from Montreux and 15 minutes from Gstaad. The station sits in the heart of this small village in the Pays-d'Enhaut valley.

MOB regional trains on the Montreux-Zweisimmen line stop at Rougemont. Some GoldenPass panoramic services also call here. The station is small and unstaffed but has shelter and timetable information.

Rougemont station is a small unstaffed halt with basic shelter. The charming village is immediately accessible. The medieval church and traditional chalets are the main attractions of this peaceful stop.

Rougemont's 11th-century Cluniac priory church is one of the oldest Romanesque buildings in the region. The village has beautifully preserved traditional Bernese chalets and is the gateway to the Videmanette skiing and hiking area. The Pays-d'Enhaut landscape is quintessentially Swiss.

The Pays-d'Enhaut ('Highland') is a valley in the Vaud Alps between Lake Geneva and the Bernese Oberland. Rougemont, Chateau-d'Oex, and Rossiniere are its main villages. The area is known for paper-cut art, alpine cheese, and the traditional wooden chalet architecture.
