로마 소개

Roma Tiburtina is Rome's second major station, located on the eastern side of the city and substantially upgraded in 2011 to serve as a high-speed stop for trains that bypass the congested Termini terminus. The sleek contemporary station building, designed by Paolo Desideri, handles Frecciarossa and Italo services on the Rome–Florence–Milan corridor as well as regional trains and night services heading north and east. Metro line B and several bus routes make Tiburtina a practical interchange for travellers whose destinations lie on the eastern side of the capital.

Metro Line B stops at Tiburtina, reaching the Colosseum at Colosseo station in about five minutes and connecting to Termini in three minutes. Bus Rapid Transit line BRT 1 also serves the station.
Several Frecciarossa and Italo high-speed services stop at Tiburtina in addition to Termini, making it a convenient option for passengers staying in the eastern suburbs or heading toward the Tivoli area. Check your specific service in advance as not all trains stop here.

The Autostazione Tiburtina bus terminal adjacent to the station is the main hub for long-distance coach services in Rome, with FlixBus, Itabus, Eurolines, and many regional operators departing for Italian cities and international destinations from here.
Tiburtina is a modern through-running station rather than a terminus, meaning high-speed trains do not need to reverse direction as they do at Termini. It was extensively rebuilt in the 2010s with a striking contemporary design and serves as Rome's second major rail hub.
