Ljubljana railway станция is the main terminus of the Slovenian capital, a compact but efficient станция opened in its current building in 1849 that has been progressively modernised while retaining its early 20th-century character. It connects Ljubljana with Vienna, Budapest, Zagreb, and Venice via international services, and handles domestic trains to Maribor, Koper, and Nova Gorica.
