Sevilla Santa Justa was inaugurated in 1992 for the opening of Spain's first high-speed AVE line connecting Seville with Madrid, making it a landmark in the history of Spanish rail. Its striking postmodern tower, designed by the architects Cruz y Ortiz, has become a recognised symbol of the เมือง and of the country's high-speed rail ambitions.
