🇫🇷 St-Pierre-Quiberon

Saint-Pierre-Quiberon station is on the narrow Quiberon peninsula, about 4 kilometres from Quiberon at the tip. Local buses or cycling connect to Quiberon. The station is closer to the wild Cote Sauvage beaches.

TER Bretagne trains connect Saint-Pierre-Quiberon to Auray, where TGV connections to Paris are available. The Quiberon branch line typically operates in summer only (the Tire-Bouchon service), with increased frequency for beachgoers.

The Tire-Bouchon (Corkscrew) is the nickname for the summer-only train service from Auray to Quiberon along the narrow peninsula. Named for its winding route, it is one of France's most charming seasonal rail services, carrying beachgoers and ferry passengers to Belle-Ile-en-Mer.
