关于 斯科普里

Skopje railway station serves the capital of North Macedonia and is a haunting symbol of the catastrophic 1963 earthquake that largely destroyed the city — the station clock was stopped at 5:17 AM, the exact moment of the quake, and the ruined old station building was preserved as a memorial and now houses the City Museum. A functional new station was built nearby to continue serving intercity routes to Belgrade, Thessaloniki, and Sofia. The Macedonian rail network remains relatively underdeveloped, but Skopje station functions as the country's main rail gateway for both domestic and international services.

Skopje's main station is located about 500 metres from the Old Bazaar and a ten-minute walk from the main Macedonia Square. Buses and taxis are available from the station forecourt for onward travel.
MZ Infrastruktura operates domestic services from Skopje to Bitola, Kicevo, and Kumanovo. International trains run to Belgrade via Nis in Serbia, and there are connections toward Thessaloniki in Greece, though frequency on international routes is limited.
The station has a left-luggage office that is typically open during daytime hours. As with many smaller Balkan stations, it is worth confirming availability at the ticket window upon arrival.
A limited number of international services operate between Skopje and Thessaloniki, but the journey can involve long waiting times and border checks. Many travellers opt for the frequent bus services that cover the route in around three hours.
The historic Old Bazaar (Čaršija), one of the largest and best-preserved marketplaces in the Balkans, is within walking distance of the station. The Stone Bridge over the Vardar River and the Skopje Fortress are also nearby.
