🇨🇭 Celerina

Celerina is one stop before St. Moritz on the Rhaetian Railway, taking about 2 minutes from St. Moritz. From Chur, the journey takes about 2 hours via the Albula line, which is a UNESCO World Heritage railway.

Rhaetian Railway regional trains on the Chur-St. Moritz line stop at Celerina. The station is also served by some Bernina Express trains heading from Chur to Tirano. It offers a quieter alternative to arriving at the busier St. Moritz station.

Celerina station is small with basic facilities. For luggage storage and more extensive services, St. Moritz station is just one stop away. The village centre and the famous Cresta Run are within walking distance.

Celerina is home to the Cresta Run, the famous natural ice toboggan track established in 1884. The Romanesque church of San Gian with its leaning tower sits on a hill above the village. All St. Moritz ski areas and the frozen lake activities are minutes away.

Celerina is a quieter, more affordable alternative to neighbouring St. Moritz, sharing access to the same ski areas and the Engadin valley activities. The village has a more traditional Engadin character with sgraffito-decorated houses, while being just 2 kilometres from St. Moritz's luxury amenities.
