Neuhausen station is about a 15-minute walk from the Rhine Falls. Follow the signs through the town to reach Europe's largest waterfall. The Neuhausen Rheinfall station (a separate stop) is closer to the falls if travelling from Zurich.

SBB S-Bahn trains connect Neuhausen to Schaffhausen in about 5 minutes and to Zurich in about 50 minutes. For the Rhine Falls specifically, the Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall stop on the Zurich-Schaffhausen line provides the closest access.

The Rhine Falls at Neuhausen are Europe's largest plain waterfall, with an average flow of 600 cubic metres per second. The falls are about 15,000 years old, formed at the end of the last Ice Age. Viewing platforms on both banks and boat trips to the central rock offer close-up experiences.
