Neuhausen is a station in the canton of Schaffhausen, effectively forming part of the urban agglomeration of Schaffhausen city and lying on the SBB line connecting Schaffhausen with Winterthur and Zürich. The station is most notable for its proximity to the Rhine Falls — the largest waterfall in Europe by volume — which are a short bus journey away and one of Switzerland's most popular natural attractions. S-Bahn services on line S9 connect Neuhausen with Zürich Hauptbahnhof in around 50 minutes, making the Rhine Falls a practicable day trip from the city.
