Berlin Südkreuz is a modern estación pasante in the meridional part of the German capital, opened in its current form in the early 2000s as part of the reorganisation of Berlin's red ferroviaria following reunification. It serves as a nodo de conexiones where several S-Bahn líneas, trenes regionales, and de larga distancia ICE and IC servicios converge, connecting meridional Berlin with the centro de la ciudad and the broader national red ferroviaria. The estación's clean, contemporary architecture and good intercambiador instalaciones have made it one of the more functional stops on the Berlin red ferroviaria.

Berlin Sudkreuz is a modern estación on the sur Berlin corredor ferroviario and handles a mix of S-Bahn, regional RE trenes, and some de larga distancia IC servicios passing through between Hamburg and Munich or Dresden. It is especialmente useful for viajeros staying in the Schoneberg or Tempelhof districts.
