부다페스트 소개

Budapest-Déli (Southern Station) is one of the three major rail termini in the Hungarian capital, situated on the Buda side of the Danube and primarily handling domestic services to western and south-western Hungary, including the Balaton lake region. Opened in 1861 and substantially rebuilt in the 1970s with a modernist concrete structure, it connects directly to Metro line 2 for quick access to central Pest. Many intercity trains to Vienna and beyond were traditionally routed here, though traffic patterns have shifted over the years with network changes.

자주 묻는 질문

Budapest Déli is served by Metro Line 2 (M2, the red line), which connects the station to Deák Ferenc tér in the heart of Pest in about five minutes. Numerous tram and bus lines also serve the station forecourt.
Déli station primarily serves regional and domestic inter-city trains to the Balaton lakeside area, Pécs in the south, and some services toward Győr and the west. It has historically been a terminus for trains to Vienna and Zagreb, though most long-distance international services now use Keleti.
Budapest Déli has a left-luggage facility on the station concourse available during normal station hours. The service is useful for day-trippers planning to explore the Buda Castle district, which is within walking distance.
The station sits at the foot of Castle Hill in Buda, making it an excellent starting point for visiting Buda Castle and the surrounding historic district. The funicular up to the castle departs from nearby Clark Ádám tér, reachable in around ten minutes on foot.
Beyond Metro Line 2, the station is served by multiple tram lines and buses linking it to the Buda hills, Tabán, and the Margaret Bridge. It is one of the three principal Budapest rail termini alongside Keleti and Nyugati.
