Le Verdon is the terminal of the linha ferroviária from Bordeaux at the norte do tip of the Médoc peninsula in the Gironde partemment, situated at the mouth of the Gironde estuary where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. The station atende the small port town of Le Verdon-sur-Mer, which opera a balsa service por the estuary to Royan, and is the railhead for TER Nouvelle-Aquitaine services ao longo da Médoc coast.
