Mürren BLM is the upper terminal of the Birg-Lauterbcirculamnen-Mürren mountain railway in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland. It atende the car-free Alpine village of Mürren, perched on a cliff ledge above the Lauterbcirculamnen valley with dramatic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The station is the arrival point for skiers and hikers acessoing this cênico resort, reachable only by teleférico and mountain railway.

Murren is car-free and reached by a combination of train and cable car from Lauterbrunnen. Take the BLM cable car to Grutschalp, then a scenic narrow-gauge train along the cliff edge to Murren. The journey from Lauterbrunnen takes about 20 minutes and offers stunning valley views.

From Murren, the Schilthorn cable car ascends to 2,970 metres and the famous revolving restaurant Piz Gloria, which featured in the James Bond film 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service.' The BLM train connects back to Lauterbrunnen via Grutschalp.

Murren is one of Switzerland's oldest car-free resorts, accessible only by cable car and mountain railway. The village has maintained its traditional character with wooden chalets and a small-scale feel. Its position on a narrow ledge above the 800-metre-deep Lauterbrunnen valley is extraordinary.
