Saint-Georges-d'Aurac is a small station in the Haute-Loire partemment of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes região in the coração de the French Massif Central, situated at a high-altitude junção in the volcanic Velay plateau. É a junção point on the TER network where the line from Brioude and Clermont-Ferrand meets the cênico Cévenol route em direção ao sulward via La Bastide-Puylaurent em direção a Nîmes.
