Andermatt station is a high-altitude centro ferroviário in the canton of Uri at the encruzilhada of the Gotthard, Oberalp, and Furka alpine routes, sitting at around 1,440 metres above sea level in the coração de the Swiss Alps. É a principal station on the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn network and a junção where travellers can board the famoso Glacier Express toward Zermatt or the Furka Cogwheel Steam Railway to Realp, tornando-o a único starting point for cênico mountain rail journeys in every direction.
