Milano Porta Garibaldi is Milan's northern intercity станция and the focus of one of the city's major urban regeneration projects, surrounded by the gleaming skyscrapers of the Porta Nuova business district. It serves as an important stop on the высокоскоростной линия for certain Frecciarossa and Italo services, as well as regional trains heading north towards Como and the lakes. Porta Garibaldi handles a mix of Trenitalia Intercity and regional trains to Turin, Genoa, and the Ligurian coast, as well as some Frecciabianca services. Some EuroCity trains to Switzerland also call here before or after Milano Centrale.
