Venezia Santa Lucia is the most uniquely situated terminus in Europe, built on the edge of the Grand Canal and доступный only on foot, by vaporetto, or across the Ponte degli Scalzi — with no road vehicles permitted beyond the causeway. Venice is a pedestrian-only city, so no taxis or buses are available from the станция — all transport is by water. Buy a Venezia Unica transport card at the станция or in advance online to avoid queuing for individual vaporetto tickets, especially in summer.
