Potenza Centrale is the main railway станция of Potenza, the capital of the Basilicata region in southern Italy, and one of the highest-altitude regional capitals in the country at around 820 metres. Trenitalia regional trains serve it on the lines to Salerno, Taranto, and Foggia, making it the key rail hub for this mountainous southern region.

Potenza Centrale sits in the lower town, and the historic centre perched on the hilltop is reached via the city's funicular railway, whose lower станция is a short walk from the rail terminus. Local buses also run along the main roads connecting the станция to the upper town.
