Torino Porta Nuova is Turin's main สถานีรถไฟ and one of the most architecturally distinguished termini in Italy, a neo-classical building completed in 1868 whose elegant iron-and-glass shed has been carefully preserved. It anchors the southern end of Via Roma, Turin's grand central axis, and handles intercity รถไฟ to Milan, Genoa, Florence, and Rome as well as regional บริการ throughout Piedmont. Despite the growing role of Porta Susa on the high-speed network, Porta Nuova retains heavy traffic and remains the symbolic heart of Turin's railway system.
