关于 Buenavista

Buenavista is Mexico City's main intercity railway terminal and the headquarters of Ferromex passenger operations, located in the Cuauhtémoc borough of the capital. The station serves as the departure point for the Ferrocarril Suburbano suburban rail service connecting Mexico City with Cuautitlán, as well as the historic Tequila Express tourist train. Though Mexico's long-distance passenger rail network was largely dismantled in the 1990s, Buenavista remains operationally active and is central to plans for reviving intercity rail in the country.

Buenavista is served by Metro Line B, which connects to Guerrero (Line 3) and Garibaldi-Lagunilla (Line 8), placing the historic centre within about 15 minutes. The Metrobus line 3 also stops outside the station.

Buenavista is the northern Mexico City terminus of the Tren Suburbano commuter rail, which runs to Cuautitlán in the northern suburbs. The Tren Maya and other long-distance rail projects are under development but currently Mexico City lacks extensive intercity rail.

Buenavista does not offer a dedicated left-luggage facility. Travellers should plan to take bags directly to their accommodation, or use hotel concierge services for temporary storage.

The adjacent Terminal de Autobuses del Norte (TAPO Norte) — Buenavista — is one of Mexico City's main long-distance bus hubs, with departures to Monterrey, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosí, and northern Mexico. This makes Buenavista a key multimodal hub.

The area around Buenavista is a transit-oriented commercial zone with shops and street food vendors near the station. The historic Tepito market and Tlatelolco cultural centre are reachable by metro in a few stops, and the historic centre is a short Metro journey to the south.
