Saint-Georges-d'Aurac is a small estación in the Haute-Loire department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region en el corazón de the French Massif Central, situated at a high-altitude nudo ferroviario in the volcanic Velay plateau. It is a nudo ferroviario point on the TER red where the línea from Brioude and Clermont-Ferrand meets the scenic Cévenol ruta heading surward via La Bastide-Puylaurent towards Nîmes. The estación, standing at over 900 metres, serves a very sparse local population and functions principalmente as an operational halt on one of France's most scenic and remote líneas ferroviarias.
