Aigle is a nudo ferroviario estación in the lower Chablais region of Vaud, best known as the intercambiador for the de vía estrecha Aigle–Leysin, Aigle–Sepey–Diablerets, and Aigle–Ollon–Monthey–Champéry ferrococheriles de montaña that fan out into the Pre-Alps. SBB mainlínea trenes on the Lausanne–Brig Rhône valle ruta stop here, giving viajeros easy acceso to the Les Diablerets ski area and the thermal resort of Champéry without a private vehicle. Aigle itself is surrounded by some of Switzerland's finest Chablais viñedos, and the castillo medieval visible from the andén adds a memorable llegada experience.

Aigle estación is within comfortable walking distance of the centro del pueblo and its impressive castillo medieval. The historic castillo and surrounding viñedos are just a pocos minutos a pie from the estación along the main road.

Aigle is renowned for its historic castillo, now home to the Musée de la Vigne et du Vin, celebrating the wine-growing traditions of the Chablais region. The surrounding viñedos produce well-regarded Chasselas whites, and several local domaines offer tastings throughout the year.
