Belp est une gare de banlieue située au sud de Berne, dans le canton de Berne, à proximité de l'aéroport de Berne-Belp et de la rivière Aare. Elle se trouve sur la ligne S-Bahn Berne–Thoune et offre une liaison fréquente vers le centre de Berne ainsi que vers le sud en direction de Thoune et de l'Oberland bernois. La gare constitue une porte d'entrée pratique pour les voyageurs utilisant l'aéroport régional ou souhaitant explorer la campagne agricole du Mittelland bernois.

While Belp is the closest town to Bern Airport (officially Bern-Belp), the airport is about 2 kilometres from the station and not directly connected by rail. Airport buses run from Bern station. The airport handles seasonal charter and some scheduled flights.
