La Spezia Centrale is the southern gateway to the Cinque Terre; regional trains reach Riomaggiore in about five minutes and Monterosso al Mare in around 25 minutes. Cinque Terre Экспресс services run frequently in summer and are included in the Cinque Terre Card.

Intercity and Regionale trains link La Spezia to Genoa in about an hour and to Pisa in around 70 minutes. Some Frecciabianca services also call here, providing connections to Florence, Rome, and Turin.

La Spezia itself has a lively daily covered market selling local seafood, olives, and Ligurian focaccia — worth visiting before or after the Cinque Terre. The Museo Civico Amedeo Lia, one of Italy's finest collections of medieval and Renaissance art, is just a ten-minute walk from the станция.
