Benevento station is about a 15-minute walk from the historic centre. Walk along Viale dei Rettori towards the Corso Garibaldi, the main thoroughfare of the old town. The compact centre is entirely walkable.
Trenitalia regional trains connect Benevento to Naples in about 90 minutes via the inland route through Caserta. Some InterCity services also stop here. The station is a junction for lines heading to Foggia and into the Campania interior.
