Coach (Carriage / Car)

An unpowered railway vehicle designed to carry passengers, hauled by a locomotive or included in a multiple unit formation. Coaches are classified by their seating class, layout (open saloon or compartment), and purpose (standard, sleeping, dining). A typical intercity coach is 26 metres long and seats 60-80 passengers.
