Villedieu-les-Poêles is a station in the Manche department of Normandie in north-western Frankreich, serving a historisch market town famous for its copper craftsmanship and bell foundry. TER Regionalzüge connect it along the Granville–Paris Montparnasse corridor, placing the town within reach of the Normandie interior between Granville on the coast and Vire to the east. The Cornille-Havard bell foundry in Villedieu has been casting church bells since 1865. It is one of only two remaining bell foundries in France and cast the bells for the restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris. Visitors can tour the foundry and see the traditional sand-casting process.
