Über Bellinzona

Bellinzona is the cantonal capital of Ticino and ein wichtiger rail junction in the southern Swiss Alps, where trains from the Gotthard and Lötschberg–Simplon routes converge before continuing towards Lugano, Locarno, and the Italian border. The town's UNESCO-listed medieval castles overlook the valley and the station, giving Bellinzona a dramatic setting that few Swiss rail stops can match.
