Givors Ville is a Vorortbahnhof south of Lyon in the Rhône department, serving the industrial and residential town of Givors at the confluence of the Gier and Rhône rivers. The station sits on the TER Netz verbindend Lyon with Vienne and Valence on the classic Hauptlinie that runs parallel to the Rhône, handling regular regional commuter traffic from the Lyon metropolitan area. The Givors area has historischally been associated with glass and chemical industries, and the station provides access to the scenic Gier valley route eastward into the Pilat regional nature park.
