Acerca de Aime-la-Plagne

Aime-la-Plagne is a mountain estación in the Tarentaise valle of the French Alps, in Savoie. It lies on the Chambéry–Bourg-Saint-Maurice línea and serves as the rail puerta de entrada to the La Plagne estación de esquí area. Special ski trenes operate here durante el invierno, including direct Eurostar servicios from London on selected dates.

Aime-La Plagne station is in the valley town of Aime, from which shuttle buses climb about 20 kilometres to the La Plagne ski resort villages. The bus takes about 30 to 40 minutes. The station is the rail gateway to one of France's largest ski areas.
TER Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes trains connect Aime-La Plagne to Chambery and the wider French network. In winter, direct TGV services from Paris run to Aime-La Plagne in about 4.5 hours, with shuttle bus connections timed to meet arriving trains.
Luggage storage at the station is limited. The station has a ticket office and basic facilities. Ski transfer buses are coordinated with TGV arrivals during the winter season.
La Plagne is part of the Paradiski ski area, linked to Les Arcs by the Vanoise Express cable car, creating 425 kilometres of pistes. Aime itself has a Romanesque basilica and a small old town. In summer, the area offers hiking in the Vanoise National Park.
