Acerca de Bex

Bex is a estación in the lower Chablais region of Vaud, positioned on the SBB mainlínea between Lausanne and Brig and known locally as the salida point for the metre-gauge Bex–Villars–Bretaye ferrococheril that climbs into the Vaudois Alps. The surrounding area is historically notable for its extensive salt mines, which have been worked since the 16th century and are open to visitantes, constituting one of Switzerland's oldest industrial lugares patrimonio. Regional SBB trenes stop regularmente at Bex, giving day-viajepers from Lausanne and Montreux convenient acceso to the alpine resort of Villars-sur-Ollon without a coche.
