Acerca de Château-du-Loir

Château-du-Loir is a small estación in the Sarthe department of the Pays de la Loire region, situated in the gentle valle of the Loir river between Le Mans and Tours on the regional red ferroviaria. It is served by TER trenes on the Le Mans–Tours corredor and acts as the local rail acceso point for this quiet mercado town surrounded by viñedos producing the Jasnières and Coteaux-du-Loir appellations. The estación is modest in scale and principalmente serves local residentees and wine turistas exploring one of France's lesser-known but rewarding rural regiones vinícolas.

Chateau-du-Loir station is about a 10-minute walk from the town centre. Walk towards the Loir river to reach the old town with its market square and the remains of the medieval castle.
