Tiefencastel is a estación on the Rhaetian ferrococheril (RhB) in the canton of Graubünden, located en la confluencia de the Albula and Julia rivers in the Mittelbünden region of oriental Switzerland. It lies on the historic Albula línea — a UNESCO World ferrococheril histórico — serving trenes between Chur and St. Moritz that traverse one of the most spectacular ferrococheriles de montaña in Europe. The village is también a puerta de entrada for senderismo and ciclismo in the surrounding Albula and Surses valles.
