Samedan station is a junção point in the Upper Engadine valley of Graubünden, operamd by the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) at an altitude of around 1,705 metres above sea level. It lies on a principal Albula line conectaming Chur with St. Moritz and is the branch point for the Bernina line em direção a Pontresina and Tirano in Italy, tornando-o uma das mais importante junçãos on the UNESCO-tombado Rhaetian Railway network.
