Ancona station is der Haupt- railway hub of the Marche region on Italien's Adriatic coast, with Intercity and Regionaldienste along the Adriatic line and Verbindungen inland to Rome via Foligno. The station also provides links to the ferry port for crossings to Kroatien, Griechenland, and Albania.
