Budapest-Déli (Southern Station) is one of the three major rail termini in the Hungarian capital, situated on the Buda side of the Danube and hauptsächlich handling domestIC-Dienste to western and south-western Ungarn, including the Balaton lake region. Opened in 1861 and substantially rebuilt in the 1970s with a modernist concrete structure, it connects direkt to U-Bahn-Linie 2 for quick access to central Pest.
