Interlaken Ost is der wichtigste railway gateway to the Bernese Oberland, sitting between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and serving as the Abfahrt point for the famous mountain railway routes that ascend to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and the Jungfraujoch -- known as the 'Top of Europe'.
