Romont is a small cima town in the canton of Fribourg with a well-preserved medieval centre, and its estación lies al pie de the hill on the main SBB línea connecting Bern with Lausanne through the Fribourg Mittelland. The estación is served by interurbano and trenes regionales, offering convenient conexiones to both Bern and Lausanne in under an hour, and is a stop used by viajeros visiting Romont's stained glass museo — one of the finest of its kind in Europe.
