Montecatini Centro est la gare principale de Montecatini Terme, une célèbre ville thermale située dans la province de Pistoia en Toscane. Montecatini Centro station is about a 10-minute walk from the main thermal establishments. Walk south along Viale Verdi, the tree-lined boulevard, to reach the historic spa park and the grand thermal buildings.
Trenitalia regional trains connect Montecatini to Florence in about one hour and to Lucca in about 30 minutes. The station is on the Florence-Lucca-Viareggio line. For high-speed trains, nearby Montecatini-Monsummano is used by some services.
Luggage storage at the station is limited. The town is a spa resort with many hotels that accommodate early arrivals. The station has a ticket office and basic waiting facilities.
