포르투 상벤투 소개

Porto São Bento is one of Europe's most beautiful railway stations, its grand entrance hall adorned with more than 20,000 azulejo tiles depicting scenes from Portuguese history and rural life, created by artist Jorge Colaço between 1905 and 1916. Built on the site of a former Benedictine convent, the station opened in 1916 as the city-centre terminus and today handles suburban trains on the Douro, Minho, and Aveiro lines. Though intercity trains use Campanhã, São Bento is the destination for most visitors for its extraordinary artistic heritage and its position at the heart of Porto's historic centre.

A staffed left-luggage facility is available at São Bento station, which is a practical option given the station's central location in the tourist heart of Porto. Hours are generally aligned with normal station operating times.
The scenic Douro line (Linha do Douro) departs from São Bento toward Caíde and continues up the Douro valley to Régua, Pinhão, and Pocinho. The journey through the terraced wine country is one of Portugal's most celebrated train rides, taking around three hours to Régua.
