Tiefencastel is a станция on the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) in the canton of Graubünden, located at the confluence of the Albula and Julia rivers in the Mittelbünden region of eastern Switzerland. It lies on the historic Albula Линия — a UNESCO World Heritage railway — serving trains between Chur and St. Moritz that traverse one of the most spectacular mountain railways in Europe. The village is also a gateway for hiking and cycling in the surrounding Albula and Surses valleys.

The Solis Viaduct is one of the most impressive bridges on the Rhaetian Railway, spanning the Albula gorge at a height of 89 metres. Built in 1902, the stone arch bridge is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Albula line. Trains crossing it offer dramatic views into the deep gorge below.
