Schönried is a small mountain ga on the Montreux–Berne Oberland Railway (MOB) in the canton of Berne, nestled at around 1,230 metres in the hills above Gstaad. It is served by the Goldenpass Express and regional MOB trains between Zweisimmen and Montreux, offering access to a quiet ski and hiking resort above the Saane valley. The ga is popular with winter sports enthusiasts and summer hikers seeking a less-crowded alternative to nearby Gstaad.
