Samedan station is a junction point in the Upper Engadine valley of Graubünden, operated by the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) at an altitude of etwa 1,705 metres above sea level. It lies on der Haupt- Albula line verbindend Chur with St. Moritz and is the branch point for the Bernina line towards Pontresina and Tirano in Italien, was es one of der wichtigste junctions on the UNESCO-listed Rhaetian Eisenbahnnetz. Regular Rhaetian Railway (RhB) trains connect Samedan to St Moritz in etwa acht Minuten. The two stations are only a few kilometres apart in the Upper Engadine valley, and Busdienste also cover the route.

Samedan wird bedient von the Rhaetian Railway on the Albula and Bernina lines, was es a junction station for trains from Chur, St Moritz, and the Pontresina branch. The UNESCO-listed Albula Railway passes through here on its scenic route from Chur.
